Decontaminate / Clean

For Direct / Belt Driven Pumps Drain oil completely. Refill with fresh vacuum oil. Operate pump blanked off for at least 15 minutes. Repeat all steps two more times. Drain completely. Oil should come out clean, otherwise repeat previous steps. Clean exterior surfaces of pump by removing oil drippings, deposits, etc.
For Dry (Oil-Free) Pumps If pump is operable, open pump inlet to atmosphere and run for 15 minutes to eliminate condensed substances from contact surfaces. Vent to hood as necessary.

Ship Pump

Select a box that sufficiently encloses the pump with at least 3 inches of space around every side. Secure pump in box with packing material. In some cases bolting the pump to a piece of wood is recommended for additional support. Finally fill all box voids with packing material, do not use packing peanuts. Bubble type packing is recommended. Label box "This side UP" and "Fragile" and clearly write your company and contact name on the box. Ship the pump to us.

Evaluation / Preparation

Once we receive the pump, we will perform a performance test to determine the status. Next we will disassemble the pump and decontaminate / clean all components.

Repair / Refurbish

Once cleaned, we will reassemble the pump and repair all wear and replace seals with new ones. Exterior surfaces will be painted to restore appearance. Performance test and QC to ensure pump meets original specifications.

Ship back / Ready to Use

Pump will be shipped back to you. Contaminates will be properly disposed in a environmentally friendly manner. Receive your pump and ready to use, with new warranty.
